Penny's First Birthday

We were so happy with our decision to travel to Brooklyn to celebrate Penny's first birthday. We were able to have both mine and Gabe's family join us in the celebration as well as local friends and those who traveled from a bit further away.

The morning started with a first birthday baba:

Then Penny opened her cards from Mommy and Daddy:

As expected she enjoyed the balloon more than the gift (they were shoes, after all ;).


We went upstairs and spent some time with Gabe's aunt, sister and mom before getting ready for Penny's big shindig.

We had a wonderful day filled with loved ones and special memories of such a big milestone in our daughter's life. We love you Miss Penelope, our 1 year old sweet baby girl!
