We started with the Carousel.

She was fine until the ride started and her horse moved up and down. Then it was a mad dash to get off and into my arms.

We still had fun going round and round and waving at Daddy.

Gabe and Penny watched some of the other rides:

Then we headed off to see the animals. On our way we took a picture in front of the Ferris Wheel:

And got Penny a friend:

We found the Agricultural Area that had all sorts of farm animals to see.
Bunnies:

Chickens:
^^Look at that chicken's funny hairdo!^^
Sheep:

^^Look Dora, sheep!^^
And cows, that Penny kept calling "Puppies!":

Plus we pet a baby goat:

It was getting really hot so we found the Baby Tent they had set up. So convenient if you have little ones who need to get out of the sun, not to mention Mommies and Daddies who can use a break, too.

We topped off our afternoon by sharing some ice cream:

^^Some for Dora, too.^^
It was such a fun day! We were so glad we went - it will definitely become a yearly tradition. Maybe next year we'll choose a seat on the carousel that doesn't go up and down :).
Oh, it looks like you three had a wonderful day--especially Penny! She must have been SO happy when you gave her the Doowa balloon. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, the "Dowa Lubow" (balloon) has been a big hit!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great day! We will definitely join next year!!
